Last week, I had the privilege of being invited to a local bloggers’ event. The invitation came from the lovely Ms. Betchie of Mommy QueenElizabeth, the details of which could be found on the photo above. I haven’t updated my blog in a while, but I figured it could use the additional content from the happenings at the event; that, and I wanted to meet other local bloggers as well. So I gratefully accepted her invitation.
After that painful fall (pun intended) of my beloved Pilot Metropolitan, I couldn’t bear to just throw it away. Replacing the nib and/section was my only option, since getting the nib repaired would cost more than the pen itself. And as much as I love it to bits, I am not so carefree with my money as to go through with that option.
What the hell kind of an afternoon/early evening was that? It seemed as if I sucked up all the negative vibes and bad luck within a ten-mile radius. And it all started with my beloved fountain pen…
Sometime last week, I saw this post about intermittent fasting (IF) when a friend posted it on our group chat:
⏰Intermittent Fasting isn’t really a diet but more of an eating strategy. By restricting the…
Now, to start off, I recently lost some weight starting when I had braces, and then got sick on and off for about a month last year. From my heaviest weight of ~54 kg, I went down to around 46-47 kg at the lightest. Currently, I’ve gained a little bit and now weigh around 47-48 kg. I plan to stabilize and keep my weight that way.
I lived in books more than I lived anywhere else.

I have posted about some popular coffee shops here in Batangas before. My list is but the tip of the iceberg, as new ones pop up more and more frequently all over the province. I am all for trying these new places, and I do every now and then. So it’s a bit rare for me to keep coming back to any one particular place unless (1) I really do like the food, (2) the price is reasonable and (3) there’s parking space (fast-food chains don’t count as my daughter defaults to those whenever I ask her where to eat). I have been to Orven’s Cafe several times (for both dine-in and takeout orders), so that right there should tell you something.
My current bullet journal is an A5 softcover Victoria’s Journal dotted notebook. It’s got 40 leaves / 80 pages of 80 gsm cream paper, which is sufficient enough for daily use but could use some improvements. Being a pretty thin notebook with thin pages, it’s a lot more susceptible to damage from everyday wear than, say, a hardbound dotted notebook like Scribbles That Matter or Leuchtturm1917.
As it is part of my EDC, I need it to last me the whole year, or at least until it runs out of pages. Being thrown into different bags every other day is not exactly conducive to its lasting me as long as I need it to. The solution? A sturdy notebook cover. This is where the Kokuyo Systemic Refillable Notebook Cover comes into play.
