So I finished my first marathon almost a week ago. While I did originally plan to continue running as a fitness regimen, I guess I still wanted to run another marathon. And looking for upcoming runs, I came across a couple that would be held in the nearby Lipa City. And wouldn’t you know it, they’re just a whole week apart. 😀 First up:
Because Pag-ibig can’t be bothered to send me my billing statement before the actual due date, I had to go undertime from work just so I could go to their office, queue a mile long for the billing statement and finally pay up at the last minute.
It was bad; but it could have been much, much worse.
Online shopping is such a temptation because it is too quick and convenient.
So today, I got my first ever credit card…

Inspired by Kim’s post about how she and her husband took charge of their finances, I decided to toughen up financially too. I started by looking for an expense tracker app like hers. She’s on iOS though, while I’m on Android. Still, there was no shortage of similar apps on the Play Store. I wanted a clean, simple interface combined with a variety of nifty features. I narrowed my choice down to Expense Manager, Expense IQ and Financius.
