Halloween FOTD

What better time or occasion to go all Gothic and wear dark lip color than Halloween? 😉 With that reasonably legit excuse, I wore my NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Transylvania to work on Friday. It took some courage; I was working in a sorta conservative and very visible office after all. But I figured, what the hell, my boss couldn’t kick me out just for wearing this for the occasion. Thankfully, he really didn’t. 😛 That’s Copenhagen and Transylvania side by side. I wanted the former too, but I figured I could always get a very dark red lip color later. The almost-black Transylvania was a go big or go home kind of color which seemed well suited to my antisocial tendencies so there you go. Granted, it’s not the easiest color to wear and a guaranteed attention catcher (and not always the good kind of attention either) but it gives me a fierce sort of pride that I could wear it and say to hell with all the staring.
