So. In just a few short hours it’ll be Christmas once more. Time sure flies, ain’t it? I’ve been a bit melancholic these past few Christmases and I reckon it’s time for a change–that is, have a jolly Christmas this time. Sure, I am still almost broke and not exactly at the top of my game but what the heck? I’m gonna celebrate this year simply because I AM ALIVE and can enjoy the season!

And so, as a small consolation for my dear self, I got this cute wooden gift box from Watson’s a few nights ago:

Included in the set are:

  • Goldilocks Solid Shampoo
  • Hair Boost Solid Conditioner
  • Cherry Blossom Trails Body Scrub
  • Pure Olive Oil Bath Soap
  • Movie Star Skin Hand & Body Lotion

Not bad for the price, eh? I’ve been wanting to try ONE Naturales products ever since I saw them in other blogs and then later at the local Watson’s, but have been held back by the steep prices. So when I saw the gift box with five (5) products for little more than the price of any one individual product–and in this über-cute wooden box to boot–I grabbed the box without hesitation. This is a steal, really.

I tried the solid shampoo earlier and it left my hair squeaky-clean even while still wet. The hair boost was a bit awkward to apply–I kept feeling I was using soap on my hair–but left my hair soft and not-so-dry as it usually is. The soap was so-so in my opinion–I still wouldn’t trade my (also) organic but way more affordable Cyleina soaps. The lotion smelled really really good–sweet, with a distinct berries scent I like–and did a good enough job of keeping my skin from getting scratch-prone-dry. The only thing I have not tried is the scrub, maybe later. All in all, I am quite satisfied with my little gift and what I spent was definitely worth the money.

Well, that’s all for now. Wishing you all a very merry Christmas!

  1. I rarely go to Watson’s or I just am plain blind, hehe I haven’t seen this even last week when I dropped by Watson’s. Merry Christmas Nathalie! 🙂
