Recipe: Classic Tuna Spaghetti

Classic Tuna Spaghetti

There are literally hundreds or even thousands of spaghetti recipes in cyberspace. Just the same I want to share my simple version of tuna spaghetti which I learned (and tweaked) from my Tita’s recipe. Bragging aside, this is a hit with office mates and neighbors alike and I have been asked for the recipe more than once. Best thing is my daughter loves this, so I reckon it’s pretty much kid-friendly too. πŸ™‚

The above recipe yields 3-5 servings depending upon the appetite of whoever are eating. πŸ˜‰

This is my most basic recipe so you can tweak it to suit your taste, make it sweeter or hotter or what-have-you. When I feel like it, I add mushrooms or sliced Vienna sausages or both. Or even some cream. Depends on my mood and whatever else is available in the kitchen.

Do try this and let me know if you like it too! πŸ™‚

    1. I somehow managed to get a serving without messing up the bowl’s sides so I took a pic. When it turned out pretty decent, I decided to share the recipe just so I could use it. Lol. πŸ˜€

  1. Ohhh, I’ve never tried tuna with spaghetti sauce before. It’s always cream sauce for us. This is an interesting take on the recipe so I’ll definitely try this kung feel namin mag-pasta ulit sa bahay. πŸ™‚

    1. On the other hand, I haven’t tried cooking cream-based pasta dishes like carbonara or fettuccine Alfredo. You got a recipe to swap for this? πŸ˜‰
