…that even though I still have 2 tubes of BB creams that I have no idea if I could actually finish, I now am lemming for yet another BB cream? And that it comes in an über-girly pink-and-white packaging which is sooooo not me?
Oh, I hate this feeling, I tell you. I can be pretty stubborn when I want something, even more so when I want it badly, but worst when I crave something. And this is not even food we’re talking about here. But yes, the way I want this goddamn BB cream is like my craving for chocolates right now–which is really really bad since the stuff is restricted to me. 😐 By the way, this costs P695 for a 50 mL tube from TLC Shop (the cheapest source I’ve found, since this costs P750 on eBay and P1,250 on Multiply). There are samplers in sets, but they cost P600 from wehaveit43. A bit steep for something I want purely for cosmetic purposes, as this has practically no other extra benefits at all compared to other multi-tasking BB creams.
Speaking of which. Now that I think about it, I just remembered that I was stalking 3 other BB creams the past few days nights. And these I want for more than cosmetic reasons since they claim to actually make the skin better with continuous usage. Here they are:
Now this one from BRTC is multi-tasking now, eh? Has got what I need and then some. And unlike the Lioele, there are actually individual samples of this being sold on eBay for as low as P35 for a 1-gram sachet. Kinda pricey for a mere pinch of the product, but more cost-effective since it’s not so hard on the pocket if this actually doesn’t work, you think? Especially since the cheapest (30 mL) tube I found still costs P900 from wehaveit43. Just think of the benefits to keep from screaming, okay?
The other 2 BB creams are from the same brand Dr. Jart+. Both are multi-tasking as well like the BRTC, but unfortunately even more pricey. The cheapest full-sized 50 mL tubes I found cost P1,250 each from wehaveit43. Here they are:
So what’s the difference between the two? From what I gather, the Detox Healing (black tube) is geared for those with dry skin, while the Rejuvenating (silver tube) is for those with combination to oily skin. I actually have combination skin (oily nose, the rest of the face normal) so I oughtta be eyeing just the silver tube, but from what I’ve read the stuff in the black tube gives a sheerer coverage which I would probably like more as I do not want to look made up in any way even if I have stuff (sunblock, moisturizer, BB cream) piled on my mug. Stubborn me, I know. Plus I got me some acne marks I want to get rid off which seems more along the alley of the Detox Healing. So yeah, I need want them both.
Hmmm.. Rather long post. Sorry for that. Estrogen overload much? I do tend to get carried away when I’m passionate about something. Or obsessed, more like in this case. Told you my lemming’s bad. 😐

PINK! 🙂 I suddenly feel I’m less “kikay” than you are… and I’m almost innocent when it comes to cosmetics…. when I had to type in Google “BB Creams” for I don’t really know what they are 😐 I do feel those cravings with clothes, though. And they’re so hard to resist!
Don’t feel bad about not knowing what BB creams are. Believe me, I felt much worse when I first read about them on GIRLTalk and so many girls were raving and I had no idea what they were. And at my age too! 😛 Anywho, it’s so hard to resist craving of any sort, right? Whether it’s for food or clothes or whatever. Just feels soooo bad trying to resist. 😐

Di ko pa na-try sis eh. Pero kaka-tempt kasi Buy 1 Get 1 daw yun sa Watson’s ngayon until June 26(?) ata. Kaso kung ita-try ko pa lang naman, exag naman na 2 tubes agad bibilhin ko. 😀
