For as far as I could remember, I never really had a real purpose for living. More than a few times have I questioned what this life is for. Is it for me to enjoy? Is it for me to do what is expected of me? Is it for some higher purpose which up to now I still have not an inkling or even an idea about? I have always had the notion that I should find a deeper meaning into my life, but never really felt compelled to do so. Until now, that is.
In my search for self-improvement reading materials, I stumbled upon The Personal Excellence Blog by Celestine Chua. And what can I say? The Law of Attraction really does work because the site seems to be exactly what I am looking for. The name of the site itself is sufficient for any newcomer to know what the contents are all about: all sorts and manners of articles and materials for the sole purpose of helping you (the reader) become the best of what you can be and make the most of your life. Celestine also has several e-books for free download from the site. I have downloaded some and already finished one, “Meaning of Life: How To Discover Your Life Purpose” which for me was really helpful.
What I like about this particular e-book is that it did not dictate or set its own idea/s as my purpose for being. Instead, it just helped me find my own purpose through simple, step-by-step instructions which any somewhat self-aware person could easily follow. Celestine’s own personal journey to realizing her purpose manages to both lend credibility to her as the author of the book and as well as inspire the reader, without at all seeming boastful of her quite commendable achievements.
So yes, as a result I discovered my purpose in life, that is:
To make the World a brighter, happier place through each Person I encounter by encouraging, empowering and fueling their Dreams and Desires, and subsequently their Happiness and Well-being.
Quite a mouthful, yes. But it does resonate within me as it should, as if it was really what I was meant to do in this world. And I came to that conclusion on my own, even if with a bit of a push and some help from Celestine’s e-book. Truly a gem worth sharing.
Thanks for the info, I’ll have to check it out.
Hope you find it helpful too. 🙂
You Website is so beautiful! Just what I needed !! It’s so cute!
I enjoyed reading this. There are bits I agree witha and bits that I don’t, it’s always interesting to read what people think about making/showing art etc.I won’t write any more, as a rule of thumb I like my posts to be shorter than Donald’s!
