First Impressions: Human ♥ Nature Passion Fruit Hydrating Lotion (Moonlight Passion)

As I mentioned in my previous post, there are two variants to choose from. This here is Moonlight Passion and the other is Sweet Indulgence. I like the scent of this better than the other so I tried this first. For the record, it smells kinda like the bubble gum Bazooka. Anyone still remember that from childhood? 😛 Anywho, so excited me used this the same afternoon it arrived, after taking a bath.

Beats me why they still have to put How to Use on the label since there’s only one way to use any kind of lotion anyway and that is to apply/rub/massage it on your skin. But don’t mind me. That’s just me being persnickety. 😛

Anywho, what I was really shooting in this image is the ingredients list. Good old water is on top of the list, making it the main ingredient–or at least the one with the highest percentage composition. Kinda explains the light, runny consistency of the lotion. Lookie here:

Because of its thin consistency, it’s quite spreadable so you don’t need a lot to cover a big area. Like, that tiny drop on the picture is pretty much enough for the back of my fingers and hand. It’s easily absorbed by the skin too, and doesn’t leave that shiny I-obviously-put-lotion-on-my-skin look. Just leaves the skin looking healthy and not dry. And the skin does indeed get hydrated, as I tried running a nail through my arm after application and it did not produce a dry white line. The scent dissipates after a few minutes though, not that I mind. And the best thing is it does not feel sticky at all! 😀 Well, except for when you sweat, but then that’s just normal. And even then, it does not make the skin look oily-disgusting like with other lotions so that’s forgivable in my book.

All in all, I really like this, dealership-bias aside. It is indeed hydrating, easily absorbed and not sticky. And kid-at-heart that I am, I just love the Bazooka bubble gum scent. 😉
