Since I’m sort of on a very narcissistic getting-to-know-myself-more phase right now–what with my personality type analysis on my last post–I am now obsessing trying to analyze my handwriting. I am basing my self-analysis from here. So according to instructions, I should write “She sells seashells by the seashore” in cursive. Normally I write in print but for the sake of complying, here it is:
For the record, I’m left-handed and I used a Dong-A 0.2 tech pen for this. I tried to scale it to as near as the actual size of my handwriting. So yeah, I have a rather tiny and crooked penmanship. But for the sake of making the analysis easier, here’s a zoomed in version:
Finally, here’s the analysis based from the same site:
- Writing slants to the right. “You are open to the world around you and like to socialize with other people.” However, like I said before I don’t normally write in cursive so if you’d consider my usual printed handwriting instead then that would mean I tend to be logical, practical and guarded with my emotions. Handwriting bias aside, I consider myself somewhere in the middle of the two descriptions.
- Small letters. “You are focused and can concentrate easily. You tend to be introspective and shy.” True.
- Closed loops for L. “This implies you are restricting yourself in some way.” My inhibitions, perhaps?
- Full loops for E. “You have an open mind and enjoy trying new things.” True.
- S’s are pointy. “You are intellectually probing and like to study new things. The higher and pointier the peaks, the more ambitious you are.” I don’t exactly consider myself ambitious. But yes, I am a very curious person.
- S’s are open at the bottom. “You might not be following your heart. For example, you always wanted to be an artist, but you have a career in finance.” Like I said in my prior post, the career path I chose wasn’t really for me. I still fancy myself more creative then logical, despite what these personality tests/indicators say.
So did I learn anything new? Not really. What the analyses said, I already know beforehand. Oh well. But in case you’re feeling just a narcissistic interested in analyzing your own handwriting, here’s a helpful infographic I found in good old Google:

Na-eentertain ako with your personality posts hahaha. I write in print, not slanted (even in cursive), and spaced widely. My handwriting is big, open loops for L, full loops for E, my S’s are inconsistent (sometimes not pointed), and is wide a the bottom too.
I’m being quite the narcissist these days, what can I say? 😛 Haha. Based on that you are logical and practical, have a big personality, are spontaneous, have an open mind, and are versatile. 😀 All those true?
Yes. True. Parang ang labo lang ENFP ako diba? Pero may mature version daw. Or baka dahil doubtful yung EI at FT ko
Mature version? Uh, how is that? Can I take the test? Lol. Adik na eh. 😀
Medyo elaborate kasi yung ginawa nung psychologist. Dinetermine nya yung mga weakness nung ‘type’ na dapat i-develop. ENFPs have a tendency to unintentionally forget paying the bills and other responsible adult stuff, parang may attention deficit disorder kami haha. That’s why I said we can be annoying folk. Pero as you grow “daw” medyo nababalance mo yung letters depending on the situation. Pero meron kang true nature. I hope I make sense hahaha.
