I was ruminating a bit and I was just about to post about feelings of missing out (on what I don’t even know) but then I thought, hey that’s a wee bit too personal. That, and a bit negative. There’s already too much negativity in the world, so why add to it, right? So instead I’ll just be posting about the simple things I’m thankful for right now:

  • That almost unpleasantly full feeling I get after eating breakfast this morning (because I don’t usually have breakfast). Because that means I have more than enough food.
  • My daughter sleeps like a rock (like me) and so I was able to kiss and cuddle her to my heart’s content before going to work without interrupting her sleep.
  • The chocolate bar I had first thing this morning (yes, I have a very sweet tooth).
  • The fact we can play music (even rock!) in the office.

Mundane things I’m wishing for right now:

  • Clouds. Clouds, clouds and more clouds please. Because the sun is shining sooooo brightly rendering me more prone to mild heatstroke and migraine.
  • Stronger HSPA+ signal here in the general area of my work. For a location smack in the heart of the city, the signal is pretty weak and only goes up to three bars out of four.
