I feel really really lucky that I was able to capture this black-and-white ant(?) this close up and this sharp with my semi-defunct lens. 😀 Using the built-in flash for fill light helped a lot, and I shot a couple of stops lower than the optimum to reduce camera shake (just compensated for the darker result in Lightroom). This is a cropped photo by the way, since I do not have a dedicated macro lens for my camera (yet).
Anywho, it’s been raining most of the day and I am quite happy and thankful with the resulting cooler temperature. The sky is quite cloudy too so I have not seen any sunlight yet, but then I woke up way late in the afternoon and it was raining then. Had a very late lunch, with a big fat crab as ulam. Yum! Pretty much just lazing around here. Currently on the terrace with the Mama and Tita just chatting about whatever over mikiron (which I just finished the last of). I love lazy, rainy Sundays. 🙂

That’s a cool close up…how odd that has white on it. I agree lazy Sundays are great!
