Spent yesterday with these girls who I consider my sisters. We don’t look alike, do we? See, I was not blessed with any flesh-and-blood siblings. I was given angels instead in the form of these girls. 🙂
Ktle and Ketty have been my best friends since third grade. We’ve gone through crushes, petty fights, tears, laughter, sleepovers, farts and other what-have-you that normal (or not?) friends go through. Gotta love how we stuck together despite being separated first through sections, then through schools, and later through distance. We actually rarely see each other (think, just once in two or three months) yet when we do, it’s like we’ve never been separated at all. 😀
On the other hand, Bonens and I see each other each and every day. The fact that we live under the same roof probably has something to do with it. 😛 Our mothers are sisters and our fathers are first cousins, so she’s either or both my first and second cousin (depends whichever way you want to look at it). The quirks of living in a small, almost-everyone-is-blood-related community. Anywho, we actually used to quarrel a lot when we were kids (she’s younger than me by the way) but I guess we’ve both matured a bit by now and finally grown some manners and civility so we are now past that pettiness. We now get along and then some and I am ever grateful for all her (and her family’s) help as of late. Oh, and she makes killer siomai, a fun little trivia worth mentioning. 😉
Speaking of. One thing common to us all: we love food. Pretty obvious when you look at the pics, eh? 😀 Oh, and yeah. I love these girls. ♥
ahahah! You got me there. I thought those three girls were truly your sisters. I thought (before reading your posts) that you are so lucky to have them and because you seem close with one another, I envied you more. Ahahah! Na-wow mali ako sis 😀 But you’re lucky to have friends like them 😀

Ang cute naman ng family connection ninyo ni Bonens. It rarely happens that both parents are actually interrelated. Hehe! Girl friends are heaven-sent. I’m seeing my own set at the end of this month and I’m so excited since this is the first time all of us would be together since graduating from college. 🙂
Family connections like ours (both mothers and fathers interrelated) are actually quite common in here. 😉 Being with your girls is just so fun, right?
