Okay, so February is still quite a long way off. But I just can’t resist. 😛
To give it a little justification, here’a little background secret. In our more than a decade of being together, we have not celebrated a single Valentines Day together. No kidding. In between school, a long break-up and his going abroad, we just never had the chance. BUT. He’ll be home next year just in time for good old V-Day and so we might actually be able to celebrate together… finally. 😀
Anyway, though we certainly are not the most romantic couple ever, the romance factor–or the lack thereof–has not really hindered our relationship. Not to brag or anything, but it just goes to show that kilig moments or romance is not the be-all and end-all of a relationship. It’s important, yes of course, but in the end, steady comfort beats butterflies-in-the-stomach for me. 😉
