MUSTS

Simply out of boredom/inspiration, I found myself thinking of things I’ve never done, places I’ve never gone too and people I haven’t seen. There are so many, I suddenly felt like I’ve been living under a rock all this time. And so, I came up with a few lists of MUSTS.

Stuff I Must Do Before I Die:

1. Get inked. Preferably by a known tattoo artist like Ricky Sta. Ana or Sarah Gaugler. Doesn’t really have a to be a big-ass, in-your-face piece. Just something significant/memorable, yet tasteful. I have a few ideas already, but I guess I’ll just finalize when I finally get my first ink. Hopefully before my 26th birthday or before 2011 ends. Whee!
2. Have my own photography-related business. Even with a [slightly] malfunctioning camera, I still love taking photographs. I can do photo invitations and have single-handedly done a graduation portrait stint. I’m doing more photography this year. Promise.
3. Wear a dress going to the mall. Seriously. And yeah, it follows: wear more girly-girl clothes. Get out of my jeans, t-shirts and shorts. Maybe even wear heels as well. Why not? *winks*
4. Go bungee-jumping. Where can I do this here in the Philippines anyway?
5. Travel abroad solo. And maybe even live there for half a year at least. Should do wonders to my self-esteem and domestic skills. And Lord knows I need a lot of the latter. Haha.
6. Have millions socked in a personal bank account. Yeah, personal as in my own. From my own sweat and blood.
7. Have twins. Now, this one is beyond my control. But heredity is on my side: my father has a [sadly, now-deceased] identical twin brother. Twins usually skip one generation, so that means I oughtta have my twins, right?
8. Complete Neil Gaiman’s Sandman series. Either the four Absolute Sadman volumes or the eleven graphic novels. I still have The Wake (the 11th graphic novel) and Worlds’ End (the 8th) though.
9. Get married. I don’t wanna be a spinster, do you? And I want the wedding in Taal Basilica please, thank you. With all the works too, yes.
10. Live to attend (at least) the first birthday of my first great-grandchild. Arthritis and rheumatism be damned. Children’s laughter is still the best cure-all for every ailment there is.
11. Witness a miracle. I’m not religious, but I am spiritual.
12. Be as flexible as a gymnast or ballet dancer. I can reach my toes without bending my knees, that’s a start.
13. Build my own dream house here in Batangas. Still scouting for a good location though. Preferably within the city [or in Taal] but with lots of space and cool air.
14. See and feel real snow. Make snow angels. Have snowball fights. Maybe even go ice-skating. I’d take cold climate over hot any time.
15. Write an article or do a photo shoot for a published magazine. I’ll have it framed and displayed at home.
16. Go cosplaying as an anime character. Complete with the elaborate costume and makeup and all. Alodia-wannabe much? Haha.
17. Win the grand prize in the lottery. This would not be borne of luck, but would serve as proof that God indeed answers the prayers of even the blackest of sheep.

Movies I Want to Watch Right Now:

1. Red Riding Hood. Just because I’m a sucker for dark-themed movies with gorgeous stars. Oh, hello there Shiloh Fernandez! Yes, I was talking about you right there. [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdzk8XLPDKw]

Places I Want to Visit Before I Die:

1. Bellaroca Island Resort and Spa (Barangay – Tungib – Lipata, Buenavista, Marinduque, Philippines). Website here. The place is so preeeetty. Just look at this:

   

2. Acuatico Beach Resort (Laiya, San Juan, Batangas). The view of the Infinity Pool is spectacular to say the least. The very vision of peace.

   

3. The Las Vegas Strip (Nevada, USA). Big CSI fan here! *grins* I don’t wanna see crimes though, just the beauty of the place especially at night. Maybe even gamble a little? Why not?
