A delayed post, but better late than never, yes? π
Anywho. The photo itself has almost no artistic merit whatsoever, but it accurately portrays this week’s theme: Favorite Place. That is, on the bed with our many pillowsΒ besideΒ my daughter (while reading on my Kindle). Truth is anywhere would do, so long as I am with my daughter. But since that kind of vague concept would be pretty hard to capture, I decided to just go with the most comfortable place for both of us. π
Oh, and that orange blanket is not really a blanket at all but a sarong. Like me, my daughter prefers using them as blankets since their fabric are generally are thinner and softer than those of the usual blankets. That’s why we have a bunch of them in different colors and she brings at least one when we go out, in case she falls asleep on the car or something.
I like a bed with lots of pillows too!
So comfy and cozy, right? π
Anywhere with the family… especially the kids, is always the best place us mommies would ever want to be at! And yes, I agree — a place like that can never be captured but through the pictures taken with our loved ones. See you again on Friday!
Yes, our families are our homes. π Would’ve loved to take a photo of Francine with her Daddy, unfortunately he’s halfway around the world. So I have to make do with just the little girl in the photo. π
This photo makes me want to hug my son who’s still in bed right now π Ah! This makes me want to grab my ebook reader ( and go back to bed!) as well. Sleeping children captured in photos really send out peaceful and calm vibes. Have a great day!
True. I have a lot of photos of my daughter while she’s sleeping. As active as she is when awake, there is a certain tranquility about her when she’s asleep. π
Ha! It’s my favorite place too.. Super duper love bedtime with my kids all tucked in bed. I love the smell of their drooled pillows too. So homey. haha
Haha. Call me weird but I love sniffing my daughter’s armpits. π
I don’t know if this is normal or what, but I like to have a blanket (I can’t sleep without one) irregardless of the weather. Yes, even if it is scorching hot already! For extremely hot weather tho’ I just like to feel them underneath my feet. π
It’s perfectly normal. I’m like that too. π Although like my daughter, I use a sarong instead of a blanket. Obviously, she got that from me. π
And that is my favorite place too! I love how the kids sleep soundly.
I have an object of security too. It was a very slim pillow and I had it eversince I was a baby until I have to let it go two years ago. I had to bring it everywhere I go because I won’t be able to sleep without it.
I have a favorite sarong which has been with me since college and is now tattered and holey from use. π I have since retired it to the cabinet and now share a stash of new ones with my daughter.
