Not just because I finally(!) bought a waaaay overdue pair of replacement contact lenses, but because I was able to stay at the mall for hours and hours yesterday and yet managed to go home with only these as my purchases. Yey! 😀 I even got a discount for them because of the mall’s store-wide mid-year sale. And yeah, the lady at EO was nice enough to exchange the (freebie) blue lens case she gave me for that purple one in the pic. 😉
Oh, in case you’re wondering about the different lens grades, my eyes do have varying degrees of deterioration. 😛 My left eye has the higher grade.
Anywho. I did see the flats still at Penshoppe, but they were no longer on sale. 😐 However, there were other, newer styles too. And one of them is purple! I really had to curb my impulse to buy that pair since the truth is I really do not need new footwear as I do not go out that much these days anyway.
There was a newly opened store too, called Chemistry. They have really nice clothes and accessories, kinda like Shapes but relatively cheaper in comparison. I am certainly planning to grab a piece or two in the coming days, but ONLY if there will be an occasion that would necessitate the purchase of new clothes. So yes, I am sticking to my NO Buy plan. 🙂
I could never wear contacts for a long time. Nde talaga kaya ng mata ko and after a few days of use, my eyes turn really red. Ala-vampirish. Hehehe! =)

I recently bought contacts because I wanna try wearing them instead of spectacles but until now hindi ko pa nagagamit. Parang ang hirap kasing gamitin. :p
Sanayan lang sis. Once you get the hang of wearing them, it would be like you’re not wearing contact lenses at all. Well, in my experience at least. 😉
Same here, my left eye has a higher grade than my right.
Really? I wonder why that happens, eyes having different grades?
I don’t know why. It was only in my checkup last month that I found out that I have lazy eye, i.e. my left eye is making my right eye do most of the work.
Hmmm.. I have heard of the lazy eye syndrome, but so far during all my checkups it has never been mentioned. Just that my eyes have different grades.
