So we were at SM City Lipa this afternoon after I had my OGTT this morning which I think I failed by the way (topic for a separate post later). And yeah, we went shopping. And all I have to show for it is an old book on sale, a tinted lip balm, a bar of soap, a pack of cotton balls and a couple packs of panty liners. The first two cheap indulgences and the rest just bare necessities. Improving, eh? 😉
At the Nat’l. Bookstore yesterday, I saw those P50 books too. I swear, they’re really tempting. Anyway, thanks for the visit dear. Happy weekend! 🙂
Thanks for visiting too Pink Magaline! 🙂 Very tempting indeed, too bad konte lang selection ng books sa National ngayon compared sa dati.
That’s nice. Now, this makes me realize that I haven’t bought much on discount lately. Hmmm…. What book did you get to buy, by the way?
On the other hand, I have not bought a new book in months, maybe even years(?) now since I always just rummage around in book sales. 😀 I got Moriarty by John Gardner. He’s one of the antagonists in the Sherlock Holmes series, I think.
I wish all good books cost P50 para everyone can afford it. If we always have sales like these, all Filipinos will be well-read.
Indeed, I wish so too! 🙂
Hello. From Lipa ka rin? 🙂
Nope, I’m from Taal. But I go to Lipa from time to time. 🙂 San ka sa Lipa sis?
I’m from marauoy po. malapit lang kami sa SM, walking distance lang. 🙂
Talaga? Eh di malapit din kayo sa Benok’s. 😀 Kaka-miss ang tamis-anghang chicken chami dun!
I sometimes go to BookSale, and I spend 30 min-1hour just to buy the perfect cheap book. Thrilling yung paghahanap. :]
Mas fulfilling makakita ng magandang book sa mga sale no? 😉 You get a good read, plus naka-save ka pa. Best of both worlds. 😀
