Disclaimer: I do not know any of the people in this photo.

Was at the airport today to fetch my cousins from abroad. And all I can say is, it was friggin’ hot and crowded in there. With all that people, I was thinking, for 1 balik-bayan there’s gotta be at least 8 taga-sundo. We were no exception of course. πŸ˜›

Anywho, with that much people in there, it was but natural to go people-watching. Which of course I did, not only to amuse myself but mostly to keep my wits and refrain from fainting in the scorching heat. Lots of families. Men smoking (how they could still smoke in that heat is beyond me). Teenagers wired to their earphones. Kids eating whatever. Women chatting.

This girl in the photo stood out from all rest though. I dunno if it was her hair or her clothes or her radiant skin or her purple sandals that did it, but she just plain stood out, period. And I love that I was able to somehow capture that in this photo, with the mesh barrier somehow blurring the mob in front of her and the other two persons in the foreground seeming uninteresting next to her. What say you?

I would have thoroughly enjoyed the people-watching experience had the heat not been that intense. I swear, I felt like sweat was dripping off my every pore. Even if I was only standing there (and I was in the shade, mind you), sweat was literally trickling down my bare legs in the heat. Sorry for being disgusting, but that’s just the way it really was. In fact, I was so desperate that I had a Choco Crumble Sundae from the Jollibee outlet upstairs the Arrival area despite my sugar restriction. I figured I’d succumb to the heat first before going toxic from the sugar rush.Β That, or I’m just making excuses because I really really miss ice cream. πŸ˜‰

    1. Thanks Anne! πŸ˜€ Truth be told, I had a crush on her when I saw her. πŸ˜‰ She really really stood out among the general masses at the airport.
