The marketing department of Cafe de Lipa is on to something here. I mean, how can you resist trying any of these? I know I didn’t. Haha. I had the perk-up coffee earlier, and while I didn’t exactly feel that much more hyper (overstating much?) after downing the whole cup, I must say that it at least tasted real good. In fact, I liked it so much as it is that I did not even bother adding extra sugar or cocoa (which I always do when ordering Cafe Mocha at Starbucks). Ninang Thelma (a quintessential coffee addict) had the barako coffee and wouldn’t you know it, the stuff was strong enough (but still not as intense as the pure black coffee she thrives on) to alleviate her impending headache (she has a caffeine addiction, BIG time).
Next time I’ll be trying the happy coffee. Or maybe the companion one. Or even the mischievous variant. Whatever. I should have already tried them all before the year ends anyway. Haha. Wonder which would be my favorite?
How about you, which variant do you like best? 🙂
The Mischievous concoction sounds good to me. Hope I’ll be able to try it out in the near future. 🙂
Go try it sis, and tell me if it tastes as good as it sounds! 😉
