Savings Tracker

By on

Expenses are a necessary evil. I mean, who really wants to go around throwing money away, right? But bills have to be paid, food must be bought.. you know the drill. I will be the first to admit that I suck at money management so half the time I have no clear idea where my salary went and end up short. And so when there are unexpected expenses, I barely manage to get by.

So this coming year, I want to be on top of my finances. It’s gonna take serious effort and some creative planning, but with the envelop budgeting system firmly in place and careful logging on my BuJo, I should be able to actually do it. To supplement the envelop system, I borrowed Kara of Boho Berry‘s Savings Goals Tracker from here. Once again, I made the table on the computer, meticulously measured and scaled to fit my BuJo as another Dutch door attachment. πŸ˜‰

Analog Year

By on December 27, 2016

These days it’s so easy to get caught up with technology. Like, I pick up my phone to set a reminder and the next thing I know.. it’s 30 minutes later, I’ve checked and rechecked my social media feed, liked, hearted, and commented, and totally forgotten why I picked up the phone in the first place. That ever happen to you as well? It’s annoying, really. And frankly, quite disturbing too.

Monthly Planner FREE Downloadables

So I am sort of on a planner roll right now, what with the excitement of doing bullet journaling for the first time. Truth is, this early, I’ve already put in several collections in it. For my kid, our finances, books and movies, and of course, this blog. πŸ™‚

In my last entry, I posted a free habit tracker, mostly because I was tinkering around on the computer while still on planner high. And because I couldn’t well enough leave it alone, here I am again with another free downloadable. πŸ˜‰

2017 Starbucks planner X Bullet Journal Habit Tracker

I have a confession to make: I actually feel more excited than usual for New Year because of my new planner/journal. 😁 While this is not exactly my first time using a planner, this is my first attempt at bullet journaling. But since I am not using a blank notebook as per the original BuJo requirement, there are some components that my small planner cannot accommodate. One of which is a HABIT TRACKER.

Starbucks Planner X Bullet Journal

By on December 14, 2016

So I have been using a tiny generic planner for the last two years now. And even with the cramped space, I find that I still have quite a lot of gaping blank spaces all over the planner. Most entries are just the usual events like birthdays and holidays, and then book and movie releases, and then the occasional coffee date or two with friends. I live an utterly boring life, I know. So there’s really no sensible reason to upgrade to another kind of planner.

BUT. Starbucks Philippines released their 2017 planners and I fell in love with the Siren planner, uneventful life be damned. I mean, just look at this beauty. 😍
