My inner perfectionist is soooo happy that all these info fit exactly into one (1) page. 🤩
So yeah, this is one of the main reasons why I need to be very organized this coming year. A change as drastic as up and moving to the other side of the world, and getting married on top of that, is no joke. Before that can happen, a lot of official documents need to be procured and/or filed. Add to that the registrations and corresponding payments for the medical examination and the Embassy interview. Oh, and yeah, the (notorious and much-dreaded) CFO Guidance and Counseling Program as well.
To be honest, I have this same list of dates and requirements on several different platforms (Evernote, Google Drive, Memo app). But nothing beats having it on paper, offline, where I can look at it everytime I start to panic whenever I want or need to. And yeah, the feeling of crossing out an accomplished task. Priceless. Also, electronic devices are not allowed at the Embassy during the interview; I would die if I don’t have my checklist with me somewhere to keep me sane.
I am normally not a type A kind of person, just let me be clear. But a process like this necessitates nothing less than absolute preparation. Approval would hinge on whether all requirements are complied with, and if the consul is convinced of the genuine nature of the relationship. And while our relationship is as real as it gets, distance notwithstanding, compliance to requirements is a major point for improvement for me. So this is me giving my all, in the hopes of securing that much-coveted visa so I can spend the rest of my life with my man. 🥰🥰
Ateeee, I did not even know that you are going to leave us soon! 🙁
But anyways, we hope for all the success on the processing of your papers. 🙂
Thank you sis! 😊 We’ve actually been planning this for quite some time now, but only got the gears moving recently.. so here we are. 😅
I am guessing this is the reason how you found my blog! Glad you survived the K-1 process just like we did <3
Love your blog 🙂
Thank you! 😊 Kinda. I actually got started on the post about your EAD expedite. I called last week, and still waiting for any update.
