To try and cheer myself up, and snap me out of my funk as well, I decided to finally order that sampler of Lioele Beyond the Solution BB Cream that I was lemming for in one of my prior posts. The sampler was just P65 for a 5 mL  tube, which is not bad at all since I’ve seen 10 mL samples being sold for waaay more than twice the price of this.

However, buying it alone would be highly impractical since the shipping fee costs higher than the actual product at P80. Good thing the seller, Miss Charmaine of Kkochi Pida, was very nice and offered to reserve it for me while we both wait for her new stocks so I could look for more items to maximize the shipping fee. Last night, she sent me a message to inform me that her new stocks have arrived and are already uploaded on her Multiply. So excited me quickly checked out her new items to see if there’s any new product/s there that would interest me.

There were some nifty skin care and makeup stuff there but I was looking for something I would actually use. There were a couple of discounted BB creams from Holika Holika which were quite tempting, especially since one of them was for oily skin (I have combination-oily skin btw). But they were both full tubes and it would be such a waste if I did not like it, discounted price notwithstanding. Then I saw another Holika Holika (where do they get these names anyway?) product, the UV Magic Shield Watery Sun (huh?) with SPF25 PA++. Now, that I could use, a sunblock. And it was relatively cheap at just P295 too. Was about to get that when I saw another sunblock, the Nature Republic UV Lock All Day Fresh Sun Cream with SPF40 PA+++. For the same price as the Holika Holika, it was a no-brainer to get the one with the higher degree of protection.

Funny thing, I was actually looking for a sunscreen/sunblock prior to this. Been reading up on basic skin care and it’s written practically everywhere that sun protection is a must. And that is one thing lacking in my kikay kit. Not that I go out into the sun much, but still. So it was a happy coincidence that I saw this at Kkochi Pida. With 65 mL of product, this is a slightly better buy than Belo Sun Expert Face Cover with SPF40 PA+++ which has 50 mL of product at P299 and which I was planning to buy. Too bad I cannot for the life of me find any review of the Nature Republic sunblock, although the brand itself has some good feedback. 😐 Maybe because it’s a relatively new company?

My last batch of orders is due to arrive here later today, but already I can’t wait for the next pool of orders so I could include my own personal orders for these babies! Organic products rock! 😀

And before ending this post, I would like to extend my warmest gratitude to everyone for the heart-warming comments on my Hiatus post. *hugs to all* You guys inspire me, really. Thanks for the support! 🙂 That said, I will be resuming my Project 365 later today so watch out for it. 😀

Much love and happiness,

  1. New Human Nature products are tempting.

Btw, I’d love to hear your feedback about your new sunblock. I just bought Nivea’s 75ml with SPF30 (P289) for my akyat pinatubo event this weekend. I didn’t have the chance to read reviews and check better options before buying coz I was in a hurry! Mwah!
